Rakeshwar Pandey
Mr. Rakeshwar Pandey (14 January 1960)started his career with Tata Steel Growth shop, wherein he joined as apprentice. Mr. Pandey joined the trade union movement as a young worker in 1986 and after few years he became union's General Secretary in the same company. subsequently he became union president in Tata Steel growth shop around in 1988. He started becoming popular among labours in Jamshedpur because of his caring and equality for all nature. In few years, Mr. Pandey also became Union President of TRF and Tayo Rolls, a subsidiary of Tata Steel. Afterwards, he has risen to his career very strongly as Union President and in INTUC.
He is National Secretary of Indian National Trade Union Congress, INTUC and is related to Indian National Congress Party Politically. Currently he is Union President of over two Dozen Companies and President of INTUC, Jharkhand

His involvement in issues relating to harassment and injustice of labourer is famously known and this is one of the reason why he is serving as President of multiple Labor Unions since more than two decades continuously. Mr Pandey represented India in Conferences, Summits and Forums, Meetings held at U.S.A, China, Nepal, Denmark, Philippines, South Korea, France, Brazil, Singapore, Mauritius, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Canada, Germany, Sweden, and South Africa etc. in connection with trade union issues.
He attended ILO Conferences in Geneva and Bangkok many times. He was a member of Indian Delegation for World Summit for Social Development at Copenhagen. He attended World Base Metal Conference meeting held at St. Pittsburgh in 2016.
